In-Depth Keyword Research
One of the most important aspects of any SEO or PPC campaign is to determine the best keywords on which to focus. Ideal keywords are those which will bring large quantities of desired vistors, at a reasonable cost. Cost is mostly a factor of the competitiveness of any keyword, i.e., how much effort competitors are expending to rank high for that keyword.
We begin by conducting a thorough investigation of the keywords suggested by the client and those used by competitors in order to determine the sets of keywords most likely to deliver customer traffic with high business value. The client will approve the resulting keywords before SEO or PPC efforts are initiated.
Note that there are usually two levels of keywords selected for Web marketing efforts: the primary keywords with the most expected traffic levels, as well as the many additional “niche” keywords, the combined traffic from which may result in substantial traffic levels. Targeting numerous niche keywords is sometimes referred to as the “long tail” approach, and is usually implemented more for PPC than for SEO.
Competitive Analysis
A key factor in determining the ideal strategies to use in a successful SEO campaign is the strength of the existing competition. By closely examining those sites which appear highest in the search engine rankings, and by analyzing statistics available from search engines and other sources, we are able to determine a number of important factors which will help us promote your site effectively. These factors include the keywords the competition is using, the SEO/PPC strategies they are implementing and the level at which they are currently investing in their efforts.
Strategy Formulation
After analyzing all available information about a particular site, its competitors and its field of activity, we are able to formulate a strategy to achieve the desired marketing goals. This strategy includes which methods to employ (SEO, PPC, direct traffic generation, etc.), which keywords to target and what budget level will be required.
